Michael Cook

Chief Investment Officer

Michael has overall responsibility for trading decisions, research co-ordination, strategy development and risk management. He has over 15 years financial markets experience and has previously held senior front office positions at Bank of America and Hydra Capital Management as both trader and quantitative strategist. Michael is one of only three people to ever win both the Equities and Futures divisions of the annual real-money World Cup Championship of Trading during its 28 year history. Michael holds degrees from both the London School of Economics & Birkbeck, University of London.

Anthony Peters


Anthony has over 30 years financial markets experience and has held a variety of senior banking and fund management roles at BNP, Bank of America and Seven Investment Management. He is a regular contributor to International Financing Review and various other publications on all matters financial. He holds a degree from Manchester University, has guest lectured at the CASS Business School, London and is fluent in French & German.

Dahlia Verjee

Chief Operating Officer

Dahlia is responsible for optimization of the day to day operations of Katmai Capital Advisors, supporting Michael with business strategy development, risk management, compliance and marketing. Dahlia is an experienced markets trader, with a strong record across a spectrum of asset classes, including sovereign and corporate debt.  Dahlia has over 10 years financial markets experience and previously held senior front office roles in several hedge funds namely; Thames River Capital, Deephaven Capital Management and D B Zwirn. Dahlia qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in 2003. Dahlia holds an MA from the University of Cambridge, Downing College.
